Why I’m running…

I have lived in Clermont for almost 20 years; Bret's family for 40. We have watched Clermont grow and flourish. We love it here and we love raising our family here!

We want to see Clermont thrive.

Between the two of us, we own two residential properties and one commercial property. We are sensitive to the impact of inflation and tax increases. As a family of six, we are mindful of the cost of transportation and the time it takes to make life happen in our little (big) City.

Over the last few years, I have noticed a significant increase in spending and annexations by our local government. On the local Facebook pages, I see residents frequently complaining about traffic and spending. As a citizen, it is unclear to me what is the plan for the future or the roadmap on how we get there (and pay for it).

I have been involved in MULTIPLE business repair projects. As a corporate attorney, I worked with dozens of small-to-medium business owners and supported them as they navigated the complex issues of multi-million dollar budgets. In my own companies and programs with whom I have worked, I have on several occasions been involved with complex restructuring programming. In my consulting practice, I have worked on a number of facility projects that involve repurposing or refocusing existing real estate for a new and exciting use (at a low cost!).

I believe Clermont residents can benefit from my unique and particular skills.

I understand that time is our most valuable asset and can never be replaced. I do not take my health for granted and I know that neither time nor health are guaranteed to any of us. With children so young, the last thing I wanted to do was take on an unnecessary project. I have put my name in the hat because I believe I can help the citizens of Clermont reduce expenses while increasing quality of service. I believe this pursuit is necessary for the greater Good.
